Policies
Pricing: Office Chairs Unlimited.com realizes our responsibility to our customers. We want to make everything clear. There are no additional charges, no surprises, and no fine print. The price you see on each item information page is the price you will pay. The price of each item is listed directly above its description. Shipping is always free on all items. No hidden charges!
Lowest Price Guarantee! Any product labeled "Lowest Price on the Web" or "Absolute Lowest Price" has been researched by our staff to be the lowest price offered across the Internet. If, by chance, you do find an item offered for less elsewhere, bring it to our attention before placing your order. More information can be read here.
Sales Tax We are based in Pennsylvania. Orders shipping to this state will have 6% sales tax added. We also charge sales tax in a few other states due to economic nexus laws.
Free Shipping & Delivery Our free shipping is available to your door or dock on all items shipped by UPS or FedEx within the 48 contiguous states. Please note that we reserve the right to bill you for address corrections or address changes made after an order has shipped. All items are shipped either unassembled or partially assembled unless otherwise noted.
Heavy Freight Deliveries Quantity orders (typically 6+ items) and all large/heavy items will require a heavy freight carrier and may require additional travel time. All heavy freight shipments are dock to dock ("tailgate") deliveries. This means that you must be available to unload the item(s) from the tailgate of the truck. If you are not available at the time of delivery and the carrier has to reschedule/redeliver your order, you may be subject to redelivery charges. If you require any additional services, such as a lift gate or inside delivery, additional charges will apply (list of fees). Carriers reserve the right to bill you for a lift gate if you do not have a dock. Please note that inside delivery only requires the driver to deliver the item(s) through the threshold of a building's ground floor.
Freight Damage In the unfortunate event of damage, please contact us, and we'll promptly ship replacement parts. Please inspect all items for damage/defects and report these issues to us within five days of delivery. We cannot replace any items at our expense if the damage is reported outside of this time period or if the shipping boxes are discarded.
IMPORTANT! On items delivered by heavy freight, make the driver wait while you review the shipment. You MUST note any visible damage to the cartons or the item itself on the delivery receipt in order for us to replace it.
Return Policy If you wish to return an item, and it is returnable (products noted as Special Order/Custom Order cannot be returned), please email us for an RMA within 30 days (14 days for the ERA brand). Ship it back for a full refund. We will never charge you for any original shipping charges or restocking fees. You simply pay for the return shipping.
Items must be returned within 30 days in the same condition and in the original cartons in which they were sent, so please save the boxes! If your item is defective or damaged during shipping, we will promptly ship you replacement parts. If you would rather return the item, our standard return policy applies.
We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on shipments that are refused or returned due to incorrect addresses.
Compare our return policy to our competitors'! Please be sure to read the fine print on our competitors' return policies. Have you ever returned an item, only to be credited minus the original shipping charge and a restocking fee? We absorb those charges for you!
Purchase Orders We typically accept purchase orders from government agencies and public academic institutions. Purchase orders will be approved on a case by case basis. We are unable to accept purchase orders that are handwritten, state "Purchase Requisition", are accompanied by terms and conditions, or are for custom made items. All purchase orders are subject to our Terms and Conditions and our purchase order policy page will need to be signed. If you have any questions, please contact us. Purchase Orders must be emailed to us. Our terms are NET 30, with no exceptions.
Warranty Information If your item is found to be defective at any time during the warranty period, replacement parts will be shipped to you by the respective manufacturer. Our products are rated for a standard 40-hour workweek by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less unless otherwise noted. Please consult the warranty that ships with your product for complete details. Also, be sure to keep your receipt.
Transaction Security You can feel confident using our online services at OfficeChairsUnlimited.com. Our secure site utilizes SHA-256 Secure Socket Layer (TLS) to encrypt your personal information during transmission over the Internet. We do not store credit card numbers due to PCI compliance. Privacy Office Chairs Unlimited.com is 100% committed to maintaining your privacy. All personal information you provide to us will remain strictly confidential. We will not furnish your personal information to a third party except to the financial institution that processes your credit card or corporate account transaction, for purposes of satisfying a purchase or request from you, for purposes for which you have given your expressed consent, or if required by law. We will never rent, loan, or sell any information you have provided to us to any third party.

Office Star Fabric Sample Requests Please click here to request fabric samples directly from Office Star Products. They will send up to 6 samples. They are typically sent out in 1-3 business days by US Mail.
Additional Delivery Fees
Heavy Freight Carrier Inside Delivery - $185 (price includes a lift gate service) if requested at time of order. $185-$335 if requested at time of delivery (price varies by carrier).
Heavy Freight Carrier Lift Gate Service - $130 if requested at time of order (our free freight is for dock to dock deliveries only). $130-$220 if required or requested at the time of delivery (price varies by carrier).
Heavy Freight Re-Delivery or Pick up Reschedule - $60-$120 per failed attempt
Miscellaneous Legal Fees
Returned Check Fee - $25 per incident
Chargeback Fee - $35 per incident
Collections Fee - 18% of the total to be collected
Legal Litigation Regarding Collections - 27% of the total plus any court costs and suit fees (all legal disputes handled in PA)
